Village Show 2017

Well what can we say about it other than it was yet again another tremendous success.  The weather was kind, although rather cool later on which meant the cups of tea were more popular than the cold drinks.  It was the first time we ran out of cakes in the tea tent!

The comments from those who visited were overwhelmingly positive, a real country show without being commercial, please don't change anything!!

Arthur Fox had gathered together a very fine display of Shire Horses and carriage driving.  Together with the pony club and those with an appetite for horses were well catered for.

Where John Edwards found all the amazing cars, and vehicles of interest, along with the vintage tractors we will never know, they were a sight to behold.

There was something for everyone, the children went home exhausted.  They had a great time.

And, we made a very good profit.  The Treasure has reported we have £9,500 clear in the bank.  We will be distributing monies to one or two local charities at the Harvest Supper on October the 9th.
